(Singapore) Educational Assessment & Evaluation Publishing Professional – This Educational Assessment & Evaluation professional will take on the end-to-end responsibility for assessment design, validation and analytics that are integral components of a comprehensive school improvement program that integrates curriculum, student learning resources, professional development, and digital learning content for K-8 schools in India.

Responsibilities Include:
Create a high-quality formative, summative assessment item bank that measures Conceptual Understanding and Applied Thinking ability in Elementary (Grades 1-8) Science, Math, English and Social Science domains by guiding a small interdisciplinary team of item authors
Validate test item quality in the field, scale & equate test scores to compare scores across tests and over time using IRT/Rasch and other relevant psychometric methods
Analyze trends in assessment data and design software-driven reports/dashboards to present actionable feedback to students, teachers and schools for instructional improvement
Create innovative product extensions including technology-enabled and adaptive assessment algorithms
Conduct ongoing action research studies in schools and partner with external researchers to generate publishable evidence on program impact.

Requirements/Skills Include:
Ideal candidate has Masters Degree or higher in Educational Evaluation, Measurement, Psychometrics or Statistics from a top international university, with 3+ years of teaching K-8 at a progressive school.
3-5 years as a psychometrician or quantitative researcher in a quality K12 assessment firm, Ed-Tech/data science company, or impact evaluation agency, including the creation of high quality K12 test items in English, Math, or Science subjects.
Technical skills in psychometric validation, scoring and linking tests using Item-Response-Theory (ITR) methods, with exposure to statistical software (SPSS/STAT) and adaptive testing algorithms, with deep expertise in K12 assessment reporting of skill and concept growth and mastery.
Pragmatic, solutioning mindset & stature in education field to establish credibility with an experienced team.
Willing to travel internationally, including to developing countries.
