(Long Island, NY) Assistant Marketing Manager, Institutional – The Assistant Marketing Manager (Institutional) is responsible for the planning and execution of marketing campaigns designed to support institutional sales through:
• Development and nurturing of sales leads, from prospect lists, through to trials, and onboarding of new customers
• Driving usage at subscribing institutions and providing marketing support and resources to the company’s institutional customers
This position works within a team environment with a collective goal of driving sales and renewals of licensed products.

Responsibilities Include:
• Work with Sales Managers to identify strategic opportunities for growth; use sales tools (e.g. ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Redlink) and usage data to develop prospect & opportunity lists for the sales team; manage external tele-sales prospecting efforts.
• Analyze usage data to monitor at-risk renewals; develop and execute marketing campaigns to drive targeted usage of content at these institutions
• Coordinate marketing outreach and follow-up for customers with a free trial
• Manage onboarding process for new customers
• Use SalesForce to track marketing campaigns, record and monitor sales leads, and report on campaign results
• Supporting custom requests for marketing from institutional clients
• Produce effective sales and support material, leveraging both digital and traditional media, promoting company’s subscription products
• Establish customer focused webinar program to showcase web platform
• Track and analyze results of marketing campaigns, including monthly budget reconciliation and monitoring ROI
• Communicate goals, initiatives, and results of marketing campaigns to internal stakeholders
• Represent the company at library conferences.

Requirements/Experience/Skills Include:
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related function
• Proficiency and experience with Microsoft Office
• Experience with SalesForce preferable
• Experience using social media as a prospecting and/or marketing tool
• Excellent interpersonal/people skills
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to details and excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Self-starter, and possess the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively with internal teams
• Ability to manage multiple projects, set priorities and meet deadlines and ability to adapt to and perform in a fast-paced, changing environment
• Ability to travel up to 10%
