VP Account Supervisor - Oncology

(New Jersey) Medical advertising company seeking a to fill a VP, Account Supervisor role with a focus on oncology. Typically managing one piece of business of critical mass, this role is the overall brand champion, demonstrating strong ownership of the brand and keeping the focus on brand success. The VP will also manage their business with a specific emphasis on the supervision and development of the account team and is financially responsible for delivering the forecast.  

 

Responsibilities

  • Develops strategic skills, masters tactical planning and implementation

  • Ensures all creative and tactics developed support the brand positioning

  • Leads creative and account teams in the development of breakthrough creative to ensure high quality agency output, reflective of consistently superior creative product

  • Maintains key client contact and ensures the client is kept apprised of the status of all jobs and ongoing progress

  • Attends client meetings/conventions/market research and handles timely follow-up

  • Maintains financial control of all client work (estimates, jobs, fees, billing) within the guidelines of the client’s budget

  • Spearheads preparation of strategic options, copy strategy, and creative

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 6-8 years in account services at a healthcare communications/advertising agency

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Oncology experience (Immuno-oncology experience preferred)

  • High science experience, global experience, and launch experience preferred
