(New Jersey) Medical communications company seeking an Account Director, responsible for establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with clients, physicians, and other relevant groups associated with overall project/account delivery. This role will be responsible for on label account activity.
Work with project and scientific team to coordinate resources and ensure appropriate account support and communication.
Proactively conceptualize and develop proposals to implement creative professional education programs.
Work with project team to ensure the delivery of each project relative to budget, and the overall profitability of accounts.
Assist project management teams with account-related tasks, such as development of strategic plans, preparing pitches, etc.
Train and develop Account Managers, Project Managers, and Coordinators.
Develop and maintain contacts and access to key decision makers at various pharmaceutical clients.
5+ years of experience in Promotional Medical Education
Understanding of a variety of therapeutic categories, diabetes and/or oncology experience preferred
Complete and comprehensive knowledge of the professional education process.
The ability to travel and meet with clients as required
