(New York City) Medical communications company seeking a new Director of Creative Strategy. This is a leadership role focused on the strategic vision and network integration of the creative services team. This position will progressively evaluate and refine the appearance of creative work products across all clients and is responsible for the continued elevation of the agency’s visual storytelling approach.
Responsible for the strategic planning and direction of the organization’s creative function and resources; leads the agency’s continued network integration efforts to ensure unified and consistent vision and branding across all project deliverables
Provide leadership to the creative department, including project delegation, strategic guidance, and employee supervision and development
Pursue partnerships with other network agencies, building rapport, sharing best practices, and working collaboratively on shared projects.
Develop creative briefs to align with scope of work and to distribute during the project launch phase
Assume a consultative stakeholder role on business development initiatives, providing strategic insight, and coaching team to support critical creative elements.
Bachelor's degree in fine arts, graphic design, or other related major required; advanced degree is a plus.
Minimum of 5 years of creative art and digital experience in a pharmaceutical marketing agency setting; exposure to copywriting process a plus.
3 to 5 years of leadership experience in a similar role required, with demonstrated involvement in strategic business planning, and the delivery of supporting objectives.
