Publishing PR experience on non-fiction campaigns, with media contacts and well-rounded knowledge of trade book publishing a must
Ability to help create and then execute original and compelling communication plans for 4-8 annual titles
Can create press releases, pitch letters, talking points and promotional materials
Able to develop newsworthy ideas and content
Target media aimed at stoking influence and debate
Orchestrate and oversee media interviews, reviewer outreach and client appearances
Strengthen and develop media contacts in addition to maintaining strong relationships with clients
Knowledge & Skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Superb organizational, analytical, and time management skills AND exceptionally strong attention to detail
Proficiency in MS Office, Google Suite, will learn inDesign
Bachelor’s degree required in English, Communications, social sciences
