(Princeton, NJ) Medical information company is looking for an Editor-in-Chief to conceptually develop and drive in-app content creation for it’s mobile platform. This individual will work closely with the VP of Product. The ideal candidate should work well with multiple constituencies, be process driven, and have a passion for writing and editing.
Solidify platform voice and tone and ensure all content is unified through the voice and tone guidelines
Collaborate with VP of product and Engagement Marketing Strategist for tight platform and user positioning and consistent voice
Lead creative/briefing sessions as needed
Lead the training and development of creative team, including delivering guidance and clear direction, problem solving and people management
Coordinate effectively among cross-functional teams
Comfort using data analytics to drive business strategy
Drive the growth and elevate the quality of original content that is specifically written for SaaS platform
Collaborate with clients’ branding & comms/content teams to ensure our content development meets local needs whenever possible
Plan and execute content calendar and communicate deadlines with team
Significant experience acquiring and editing short form content
5+ years of hands-on experience as edits, writing/reporting and management experience.
Experience developing in app content strategies
Experience in visual editing, understanding how different forms of storytelling work together in SaaS platform
Experience or interest in digital media and publishing
