This role will lead an effort to infuse educational content with a much deeper sense of consumer media. Ideal candidates will have a consumer media background and who can bring an editorial vision to life. Ability to work across a variety of editorial formats including story animation, video, audio, infographics, interactives, simulations and text. This role will also be charged with creating content that can be used in teaching and learning environments, such as classrooms and online learning.

This role collaborates with fellow editors and subject matter experts to identify, acquire and curate learning content that meets company standards. The Acquisitions Editor is responsible for shaping and executing on the content strategy in the technology space, with a focus on addressing the learning and development needs of the audience. Formats for content are limitless but currently include video, online training courses, in-person conferences, infographics, in-person training, blog posts, books, and audio content.

The team consists of journalists, privacy experts, product testers, technologists and policy analysts dedicated to data privacy and security issues facing consumers, as well as broader topics of fair market competition, transparency, and consumer choice.
