Client Services & Operations Manager
(New Jersey) A New Jersey-book wholesaler is seeking a new Client Services and Operations Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned bookseller or customer focused publishing person to coordinate sales opportunities within a dynamic sales organization. Desired candidates will have experience in all aspects of the bookselling industry and is detail-oriented, possesses excellent communication skills, knows how to multitask, and has insightful analytic skills.
Main Responsibilities Include:
Manage relationships with clients, identifying their needs, and proposing customized solutions based on their specific requests related to freight and logistics
Coordinate all activities relating to logistics, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution
Liaise effectively with clients, carriers, freight forwarders, and overseas suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services
Create and maintain accurate records of all sales activities, including customer interactions, sales pipeline, and order status
Analyze and report on sales performance, providing insights and recommendations to the management team
Qualifications/Experience/Skills Include:
Bachelor's degree
In-depth knowledge of logistics operations, including freight forwarding, customs, and the transportation industry
Strong customer service orientation and ability to build long-term relationships
